”Great & Exciting Things People Will Be Doing with PCs in 30 Years” is a sculpture series exploring the physical dimension of technology. The overarching vision is the creation of unique sculptures of furniture built exclusively from the aluminium exteriors of end-of-life Apple devices.

Made with help of Kuusakoski Recycling Oy, the sculptures employ a high quality alloy which would otherwise have been melted down for recycling and in the process, lost its superior mechanical properties and embodied energy. The computers are set into arrangements that simultaneously preserve their original geometries and allow human bodies to ”connect” with them as tangible objects.
